Where is the best snorkeling in Malaysia and the best place where to explore nature, though it would be good if air conditioners would be accessible during the night?

Snorkeling is great in Malaysia! No diving necessary.

Most of the islands along the east coast of Peninsula Malaysia have good coral and easy boat side dip ins for both novices and water bugs to enjoy.

If you want my personal favourite, then try out Perhentian Island. If you want air-con comfort choose the flashier Redang Island, although most islands have a choice of fan rooms or air-con rooms.
