Nature Escapes

Sungai Chongkak Forest River

"Escape the City in Jungle Comfort"

The Hulu Langat Road is a nature lovers lane.

Sungai Chongkak Forest River stands out as a premier recreation park that captures all the outdoor atmosphere of jungle fun without all the travel hassle.

There are several other parks to discover in the general vicinity that offer waterfalls, jungle trekking and camping options:

The Chongkok River gently rolls in from the scenic forested hills and flattens out amid tall jungle trees with plenty of room for camping tents.

Crowds arrive on the weekends and the park becomes a rainforest for kids. Swimming holes and water play are easy to find and the current is slow and safe.

It's easy to avoid the crowds the further you go back into the park as you follow the river. Most of the camping spots are closer to the entrance, but there are more shelters and camp areas for those who prefer a quieter jungle experience.

Multi-room chalets scattered opposite the river offer the amenities of home in the outdoors.

So whether you prefer to rough it in a tent with the kids or enjoy more creature comforts, the choice is yours.
