Really closer to the beach than a Georgetown hotel, the Holiday Inn straddles the best of Penang's natural attractions and historical access with some very nice rooms.

Located on the resort strip, the hotel is within easy reach of shops, restaurants, the night market and beautiful beaches. And the city centre of Georgetown is a 20 minute taxi ride away.

"Staff was very efficient and responded to my requests. Well managed hotel with very supportive staff, they made me feel like I had known them for years. Took the time to answer all my questions and ensure I understood everything. Note that hotel has two buildings, one beach side, and one tower across the road. Elevated walkway gives safe access from road traffic."
